When you purchase FileBird from CodeCanyon, you are acquiring the right to use the item under a license — not the item itself. Your license is granted directly by NinjaTeam, the author of FileBird, and is governed by the Envato Market Terms and Licenses.
License and Usage
- Your license allows you to use FileBird according to the scope defined by the Envato Standard License (Regular or Extended).
- You may activate the license on a website according to the number of licenses purchased.
- If someone else buys the item on your behalf (e.g. an agency or developer), the license terms still apply to you as the end user.
Prohibited Activities
- You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense FileBird or any of its code.
- You may not share or leak license keys publicly.
- You may not use FileBird for illegal or abusive purposes, or in violation of applicable laws.
We reserve the right to revoke your license if these terms are violated.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. FileBird is designed to be GDPR-compliant and does not process personal data from end users.
What We Collect
To manage licenses and provide support, we collect the following data:
- Your email address associated with your CodeCanyon purchase
- The website domain where the FileBird license is activated
- Your purchase history on the NinjaTeam website (if applicable)
How We Use Your Data
- To validate your license key
- To provide plugin updates and technical support
- To detect and prevent fraud or license misuse
We do not collect any additional personal data, behavioral data, or sensitive information. We do not track users or embed any third-party analytics in the plugin.
Data Processing Agreement (DPA)
FileBird does not process personal data of your website visitors. As such, no separate Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is required between you and NinjaTeam.
If you are a business operating in the EU or under GDPR obligations, rest assured that:
- FileBird does not store, transmit, or analyze personal data
- All data collected is strictly limited to license validation and support purposes
